How to plan a brand shoot that gives you a month of content
One well-planned shoot day can give you photos and reels for weeks. One unplanned shoot gives you a hundred similar photos. Here’s how to plan it.

Write the shot list first
Every post you want this month needs a shot. List them before the day: product close-ups, the space, the team at work, customer moments and your reel ideas.
Plan each reel as a short story
A hook in the first two seconds, the process in the middle, and the result with a call to action at the end. Write it down before the camera rolls.
Pick the right time and light
Daylight works best for spaces and products. Shoot when the place is clean and ready, not in the middle of a rush.
Get people on camera
Owners and team members make a business feel real. A short introduction from the founder is worth planning in.
Shoot vertical and horizontal
Vertical for reels and stories, horizontal for your website, YouTube and presentations. Plan both so you don’t have to reshoot.
Edit and caption in one go
Edit the whole set together, write the captions, and schedule the month. Consistent edits make the feed look like one brand.
